Max Corcoran Project Cover

I had a lot of fun doing cover art for the Max Corcoran Project who just released their first album, "Live as We Dream ". This is a fantastic jazz trio album that I know for sure is available at Electric Fetus and Cheapo in both CD, and Vinyl form. This is their website, http://www.maxcproject.com/. This was an interesting process because this is a standard digital painting in photoshop. But the textures are done with a ballpoint pen and then scanned and comped into the digital illustration with photos that I took of the minneapolis skyline.

Backgrounds

I do a lot of backgrounds for MAKE Visual LLC. These are two backgrounds that I did for MAKE's Intro to the Palm Springs Short Film Festival. We based the aesthetic off of the backgrounds found in 101 Dalmatians and then we let that influence a darker noire theme for the final look.

These are concepts that I did for a CG animated film that is being produced by a co-worker of mine.
I found it to be a lot of fun to paint digitally and not be precious with the detail. So these are all very loose and quick.
